RIBFEST '26

Ribfest at Faith Lutheran

All proceeds from Ribfest go to directly support organizations in our community.  Last year, we raised $10,000 for The Center for People!  As well as over 750lbs of food for The Food Bank of Lincoln.


We are excited to make this year even bigger and better-doing even more good with those in our community and we can't wait to have you join us!

Whether you are a master rib smoker or simply love a good competition this event is for you!

There is a $100 entry fee for each 2-person team.  Prizes for the top team including Fan Favorite!


We’re thrilled to have your team join us for this delicious showdown. Here are the key details to help you prepare:

  • Meat is provided—Thanks to the Pork Producers of Nebraska!

  • Teams are responsible for one side dish to complement their ribs.

  • Both ribs and sides will be judged, with prizes for category winners and the coveted Fan Favorite award.

  • Commercial kitchen access is available for prep and cleanup.

  • All rib prep and cooking must be done on site.

  • Set-up will take place the night before the event-with security on site overnight.

  • The Ribfest Committee will host a Zoom meeting with all teams before the big day.

  • Registration closes 3 weeks prior to the event, so be sure to sign up early!
